In 2010, a revolutionary new Tucson joins the rapidly evolving Hyundai product line. The sleek crossover from Hyundai, with its athletic European design, strikes a stark contrast from its predecessor and improves in every functional area, from its roomier cabin with extra cargo space to its leap in fuel economy and technology.

Tucson features the company’s “Fluidic Sculpture” design language and is the first vehicle in Hyundai’s 24/7 version 2.0 product initiative (seven all-new models by the end of 2011).

Popular Mechanics honored the all-new Hyundai Genesis Coupe with a 2010 Automotive Excellence Award in the “Fun to Drive” category. Genesis Coupe outperforms the competition with its dynamic rear-wheel-drive handling aimed at true sports enthusiasts. This is the second time Hyundai has earned a Popular Mechanics Automotive Excellence Award; the 2006 Sonata received the honor for its excellence in safety.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd., launched its LPG variant of the very popular Accent as part of its initiative to promote eco-friendly and non-polluting means of transport. The LPG, bi-fuel variant is fitted with an engine immobilizer as a standard fitment for added security.

Hyundai Motor Company (Chairman & CEO Chung Mong-Koo) presented the new “Genesis Prada” last March 31 in Seoul, the first of only three units produced by the Korean automaker in partnership with Italian luxury goods maker Prada, and officially unveiled at the Seoul Motor Show last April 2.

Of these three unique cars, one will remain with Hyundai as a milestone of the Genesis history and development, while two will be auctioned for charity and the income will be donated to an institution which will be announced at a later stage.
